John Robert Barhite, age 81, of Old Town, FL, passed away March 18, 2026.

A father of 2 children, Liz and Jack, as well as 2 grandchildren, Tyler and Katie. He also leaves behind his sister, Anne LeFrois and her family.

John was born and raised in Rochester, New York and worked at Kodak. He spent many weekends in the 1000 Islands. When he retired, he shared his time between New York and Florida. He enjoyed watching golf, NASCAR and the stock market. He spent his last few years living solely in Florida, where he made many friends.

His kindness, humor and generosity will be missed by anyone who knew him.
