John Robert Peters, age 83 died on May 3rd 2020 in Gainesville. He is survived by his wife of 62 years
marriage Barbara, his sister Gayle Henderson of Miami, his sons Daniel Peters (Toni) & Eric, his daughter
Desiree Meehan (Mike). His grandchildren Ryan Peters (Melody), Jared Peters, and Georgia Meehan,
and his great grandson Aristotle Peters.
He was a gifted photographer capturing the special weddings days and events of many couples in the
Gainesville area for many years.
He was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church and also attended

Barb, I was saddened to learn of the loss of your beloved John after 62 years. Â You will be in my thoughts as you work your way thru this time of grief, sadness & change. Â Just know that I do understand how you feel & what you are experiencing as I myself underwent the same process less than a year ago when my sweet Reggie breathed his last breath while I held him in my arms & told him over & over how much I loved him.
