John "Scott" Detlefsen, resident of Lawtey, Florida, passed away May 4, 2019 in Gainesville. Scott was 69. Crevasse's Simple Cremation is honored to serve the Detlefsen family during their time of transition.

Scott was my dear friend, we worked together at Century Ambulance and maintained a friendship long after we both moved on from Century. He was the most generous, kind man out there. He always put everyone else first. We loved to share stories over a good meal. He loved his family, grandkids and of course his dog that went fishing with him. He will be missed so much!
