Kenneth "Kenny" Marks Jr.

Kenneth “Kenny” Marks Jr., 51, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on October 10, 2026.

Born February 8, 1975, in Gustavus, Ohio, Kenny was the son of Kenneth Marks and Nettie Mindek Marks. He moved to Jacksonville in his youth and went on to own and operate a tree service business. Known for his strong work ethic and generous spirit, Kenny built lasting friendships throughout his life.

Kenny is survived by his life partner, Grace Taylor; his father, Kenneth Marks (Tammy Simonds) of Fredonia, Pennsylvania; his sisters, Jennifer Lowdermilk (Josh) of Holly Springs, North Carolina, and Tina Gibson (Jim) of Apex, North Carolina; and his beloved fur babies, Mello, Squirt, Faith, and Momma.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Nettie Mindek Marks, and his stepmother, Sallie Bechler.

There will be no services at this time. Kenny will be laid to rest beside his mother at a later date.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.
