Kirk was born in Midland, Michigan and resided in Jacksonville, Florida. He is the son of Barbara H. Wallace. He was predeceased by his father, Karl Trevelyn Rosborough of Lugoff, SC. He is survived by his mother Barbara, his grandmother, Edna S. Hagell; his aunts Patricia Hagell and Bonnie Kelly and his uncle Ronald Hagell, Jr. (Shirley Smith). He is also survived by his cousins Patrick M. Kelly, Mac C. Kelly, Lori Gayle Mooney (Scott), Russell P. DuPuis, Missy C. Hagell, Suzanne E. Hagell, Leila J. Foster, Elbert Jackson, Sarah O. Waynick, Sarah Mooney, Noah Mooney, and other extended family. Kirk graduated from Summerville High School and attended Clemson University where he was an honor student majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He was a loving son and enjoyed the arts and sciences. Kirk never met a stranger and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
