Margaret LaPan Dumont

Margaret “Peggy” LaPan Dumont, 71, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 18, 2019, at Legacy Hospice House in Ocala, Florida.
Peggy was born on October 16, 1947 in Plattsburgh, NY, the daughter of Carl and Bette LaPan. She married Dale Dumont of Beekmantown, NY on February 14, 1970.
Peggy and her husband Dale, owned the Old County Convenience Store on Route 22 in Plattsburgh, NY for many years. They retired to The Villages, Florida in 2006. Peggy loved “her little house in The Villages” and enjoyed attending Zumba classes and doing crafts.
Peggy is survived by her loving husband Dale, 3 children, Melissa Clifford and her husband John, Nicole Dumont, Todd Dumont and his wife Kathleen; 4 Grandchildren, Baylee Dumont, Katelyn Dumont, Jack Clifford and Nate Clifford; 2 sisters Debbie Everett and Jodi Lee; many nieces and nephews.
