Born in Poznań, Poland, Marian was the youngest of three children to Bogusław and Janina Buszko. He earned a Ph.D. in Physics from Adam Mickiewicz University, and a pivotal opportunity to collaborate with Dr. E. Raymond Andrew, a pioneer in NMR research at the University of Florida, led him to relocate his family to Gainesville, Florida. There, he built a fulfilling life, both professionally and personally.
At the University of Florida, Marian served as the Director of the Department of Microbiology and Cell Science Information Technologies, as well as Director of the IFAS NMR Facility. His research focused on cancer studies and advancements in NMR spectroscopy.
Later, Marian embraced entrepreneurship, founding SpinCore Technologies, Inc., where he served as CEO. The innovative, state-of-the-art embedded electronics instruments he developed were sold and continue to be used by research laboratories and universities worldwide.
Marian is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Jolanta Buszko; his three children, Dominik, Magdalena, and Mateusz; and his four grandchildren, Jakob, Lukas, Aleks, and Sophia.
Marian passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was a devoted husband, father, and faithful Catholic, as well as an avid outdoorsman with a zest for life and adventure that left a lasting impact on those who knew him. His boundless cheerfulness and optimism will be dearly missed.

Our deepest condolences to you, Yolanta, and Dominik, Magda & Winston, Jakob, Lukas & Aleks; Mateusz; and Sophia and all who loved him. He made a difference.
I will always remember his wit, calm demeanor, adoration for his beautiful wife & immense love for his children, readiness for adventure, his warm smile and ability to make feel important each one with whom he spoke. His presence will surely be missed by many more than he ever knew.
With much sadness & love,

Our deepest condolences to wife Jolanta and family of Marian Leszek Buszko during their difficult time of loss.
Year 2024 is the year when most of Marian's high school classmates and I turned 70. We thus especially treasure memories of starting together with him on a challenging journey into the world of advanced mathematics and science.
Marian's achievement in that domain is proof that all these early efforts bore fruit.
May you find comfort in that some of my colleagues kept in touch with Marian over the years and through long distances.
He will always be in our hearts.
Leszku – do zobaczenia 🙏
Wieczny odpoczynek racz Mu dać Panie, a Światłość Wiekuista niechaj Mu świeci.
Niech odpoczywa w Pokoju Wiecznym,
Amen 🙏
Dear Yolata and family.
We saddened to read this announcement and are thinking of you all as you find new ways moving forward with Marian in your heart and minds while missing his positivity and presence each and every day.
