Marsha Caren Sealey Parnell

Marsha Caren Sealey Parnell of Gainesville, Florida, took her heavenly flight from this planet earth on October 1, 2016 at the age of 49 years. She was surrounded by her loving family as they held her hands.
She was born on November 9, 1966, as a twin, in Tallahassee, Florida to Laraine C. Collins and Peter D. Sealey.
Marsha attended Martha Manson Academy, Buchholz High School and Santa Fe College. In the words of her eldest son, Travis Parnell, she loved her family, going to the beach, animals, floating down the river, shooting pool or darts, rock and roll music, country music, watching the Florida Gators and Pittsburg Steelers football games, cooking, fishing, traveling, playing cards, reading best sellers, watching movies, and most of all spending time with her family and friends.
Marsha was pre deceased by her grandparents, Bea Collins, C.C. Collins and Samuel I. Sealey.
Marsha is survived by her sons, Travis R. Parnell of Gainesville, Florida and Austin Lee Clark of Elkhart, Indiana; mother, Laraine C. Collins of Gainesville, Florida; father Peter D. Sealey of Covina, California; twin brother Matthew C. Sealey of Gainesville, Florida; Niece, Sara Sealey Leach of Wilmington, North Carolina; Step daughter, Tricia Smith Vazques and husband, Cesar, Gainesville, Florida; step son Tyler Smith, Columbus, Georgia; newborn grandson, Andrew Lee Clark; step grandsons, Angel and Jenson Vazques; half sister, Stacey Sealey Fike of Perry, Florida; half brother, Gregory Sealey of Covina, California; Grandmother, Mildred Hunter Medeiros, Waycross, Georgia; special aunt who is more like a sister, Sheila Collins of Perry, Florida; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
All of her animals were waiting for her at the Rainbow Bridge except Willie Nelson…he is missing her terribly.
At Marsha’s request there will not be a formal funeral. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date .

Marsha, Marsha, Marsha…..one of a kind! You left us way too soon…God Speed…Love you forever.

  1. This obituary really sums her up. An amazing beautiful wonderful special one of a kind woman. She was there for me when i lost my mom young. I LOOKED AT HER AS FAMILY. she kept in touch for all these years. I dated her son a short time but after that we kept in touch. She was so special. If u ever met her u know. Rip angel. U are always very loved and never forgotten. Go gators and steelers!!!

  11. I knew you and Matt in grade school in Gainesville. I was scanning the net for old friends/memories, and came across this announcement. I am so sorry to read this, and that it is years later. I am just one more person who thought highly of Marsha and Matt.
