On June 7, 2026 MaryAnn Soncrant Won her battle against Pancreatic Cancer; with the love of her family, she went to the Kingdom of Heaven to be with Our Lord and Savior. MaryAnn was born on December 31, 1948, every birthday was a celebration. Her childhood and teen years were spent between Florida and Pennsylvania. As an adult she lived permanently in Fanning Springs, Florida.
She retired from the University of Florida Microbiology and Cell Science Dept. She was the Assistant to the Chairman. She also loved Cruising, especially with Carnival Cruise Lines. Her favorite ship to cruise on was the Mardi Gras. The crew was her family and they loved Momma Mary. She was a lover of animals and had a special bond with every cat or dog she had the pleasure of meeting. And she was Catholic by faith.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Bertha Guerrini and Paul and Ethel Flickinger and brother Joseph Guerrini. She is also preceded by her 1st husband Reggie Fletcher Sr, 2nd husband Allen Soncrant and 3rd husband David Sullivan all who she loved dearly.
She is survived by Daughter Ginger (Fletcher) Wheeler, Daughter Angela “Angie” Fletcher, Son Reggie “Buddy” Fletcher Jr and wife Dawn and Daughter Katherine “Suzie” (Fletcher) Banks and husband Ricky. She is also survived by her grandchildren Teresa Costa, Travis Williams, Brandy Williams, Amber Fletcher, TJ Banks, Ricky Banks Jr, Travis Fletcher and Nathan Fletcher. She is survived by 14 (13 and 1 on the way) great grandchildren. She had numerous friends that she loved and they loved her dearly.
The family asks that a donation be made to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital in MaryAnn’s memory.
