Mikel Paul Sullivan

Mikel “Mike” Sullivan, age 79, of Fanning Springs, Florida, passed away Saturday evening, October 18, 2025, at his residence. He was born March 25, 1947, in Lafayette County, a son of the late Ida (Herring) and Hope Sullivan.

Mike was preceded in death by his brothers, Connie Mack Sullivan, Wayland Sullivan, Jack Sullivan, Drew Sullivan; two sisters, Nell Sullivan and Stella Osborne.

Mike was a Vietnam Veteran in the Navy. He enjoyed his garden, fishing, hunting and most importantly, spending time with his family and friends.

Mike is survived by two sons, Salem Sullivan (Kimberly) of Cowpens, South Carolina, Michael Paul Sullivan Jr. of Fanning Springs; one daughter, Nicole Sullivan of Fanning Springs; longtime companion Marie Norman of Fanning Springs and former wife, Nancy Cruse of Fanning Springs. Mike enjoyed his 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to Haven Hospice in Chiefland, Florida.

A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
