Myrtle Marie Caswell

Myrtle Marie Caswell passed away at the age of 97 on Saturday September 7th at her home in the duck pond neighborhood of Gainesville, Florida. She was born in Saluda, North Carolina in 1920. Myrtle was respected by all for her strength and generosity, as she helped many throughout her life. She served her community preparing school lunch at PK Yonge for twenty years. Myrtle enjoyed cake and the company of her family members at her birthday celebration, only a few days before she passed on. She is survived by her son Melvin Caswell, also of Gainesville, as well as six grandchildren. Richard Rivera, Brian and Fred Sergeant, and Jonathan, Christopher and Kathleen Caswell.
