With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Regina “Gina” Spaulding, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Born on December 11, 1962, in New Smyrna Beach, Gina departed on June 13, 2026, at the age of 63, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Gina was the cherished daughter of Frank Arnett and the late Morine “Moe” Arnett. She shared 40 wonderful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Scott. Together, they raised two loving children, Adam and Summer, and cherished their granddaughters, McKenzie and Emery.
A graduate of Baker County High School, Gina dedicated over 13 years to Publix before retiring to volunteer at state and city parks. She was an active member of New Cross Creek Baptist Church, serving as Missions Director and Vacation Bible School Director. Her faith and service inspired all who knew her.
Gina’s zest for life was evident in her love for fishing, sewing, crafting, and traveling with Scott. Known for her radiant smile and open heart, she never met a stranger. Her loving personality left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.
Gina is survived by her husband, Scott; father, Frank; siblings, Pamela, Gail, and Eugene; children, Adam and Summer, and son-in-law, Mike; granddaughters, McKenzie and Emery. She was predeceased by her mother, Moe.
Gina’s spirit will forever be remembered as one of light and love. Her life was a testament to kindness, faith, and the enduring power of love. She will be deeply missed and cherished by all who knew her.

In memory of Gina, a luminary will be placed at Lake Junaluska in Waynesville NC on July 1 between 9:14 and 9:45. It will be a reminder of her smile and laughter as her light shines on.

Rest in peace love you Gina, your friends Barb and Ken Jenkins.
You are greatly missed, but I find comfort in knowing you are in heaven with our Lord and Savior. You were so caring for new visitors at The Cross Creek Church and for Missions, and just plain fun to be around. I pray for peace for your whole family.
