It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Stevens, of Jacksonville, Florida. Originally from Long Island, New York, Richard lived in New Port Richey, Florida for 26 years before relocating to Jacksonville one year ago.
Richard loved spending time with his family and especially enjoyed traveling together over the years. Whether it was a family gathering, celebration, or special event, Richard could often be found on the dance floor. His sense of humor, kind heart, and joyful spirit brought laughter and happiness to those around him. He touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Richard is survived by his loving mother, Diana; his brother, Donald; his sisters, Debbie (Vito) and Nancy (Kris); and his brother-in-law, Mark. He is also survived by his cherished nieces and nephews, Nicholas, Melissa (Kevin), Jonathan (Meg), Jennifer, Tonianne, Andrew, and Ashley, as well as his great-nephew Logan and great-niece Amelia. He will also be missed by the caregivers and friends at his home at Hodges Cluster, who were part of his extended family during the past year.
Richard was preceded in death by his father, James, and his sister, Tammy.

We are so very sad to hear of Richard’s passing.
With love,
Lorraine and Greg Kersting

Sorry to hear of your brother’s passing. May his memory be a blessing.
He filled every room the same way a good meal fills the soul.
A lot for your family to bear
Prayers are with your family🙏
So sorry for the loss of your sweet brother. You all loved him so much and made his life wonderful. I know he is now totally healed and normal, which is such a blessing. He was a joy to be with, everyone that met him loved him. I can only imagine the celebration in heaven upon his arrival. He loved his Daddy and Tammy so much. Now they can be together experiencing the love of Jesus in person.
I pray that God comforts all of you during this time.
