Richard Dick Travers

Richard Travers of Old Town, Florida, passed away October 25, 2017 following a five year battle with cancer. He was born September 21, 1931 to the late Henry and Mary Travers. Richard was an Iron worker for many years and was also a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 639 in Claysville PA where he served as Commander at one time. Richard was also a member of the Moose Lodge in Washington PA. Surviving is his wife, Shirley, son, Andy Travers of Colorado, 2 step-sons, Herbert and William Barrett of West Virginia, 4 step-daughters, Debra (Tim) Sanders of Washington, PA, Mildred (John) Hongh of Port Charolette, Florida, Brenda (Mark) Da Video of Ocala, Florida and Robin Iams of Washington, PA. 15 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. Deceased is a son Bruce, 3 sisters, and 1 great granddaughter.
