Richard (Dick) F. Fries, 82, of Gainesville, Florida, passed away on March 11, 2018 in Gainesville, Florida. Mr. Fries is survived by his wife of 58 years, Rosemarie, his two sons, Scott and wife Lisa, Keith and wife Jennifer, and 4 grandchildren, Shannon, Kyle, Paige and Colby. Mr. Fries was born in Wappingers Falls, NY on January 29, 1936 and moved to Gainesville, Florida in 1966 to open the Wometco Plaza theater and worked 40 years as the Florida Gators radio network statistician. I will miss you dearly. I will cherish the times we share together as a family and how you made Colby and I feel very part of this special family I thank you and mom for that everyday ! I struggle d through your illness with you, but soon realized you were growing tired..you sho we d me compassion of the heart and always kept a positive outlook ..the last four weeks were pretty special for me and I was grateful to know you , I was inspireby your wisdom,and perseverance..but most of all you taught me about family ❤️ Love you dad…
