Richard Starling

September 15, 2020

Richard Clark Starling, 71, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2020. He was the life partner to Nancy Starling and they shared many years of marriage and life together.

Born in Lakeland Florida, he was the son of Alabama and Minor Starling. He graduated from Williston High School in 1969 and worked all of his life in the forestry industry. Whether it be running equipment or driving a truck, he loved it all. The last several years of life Ricky was “taking it easy,” driving a tractor to both mow and bush hog.

Ricky’s greatest enjoyment was going to the woods, sitting in his deer stand and huntin’ bucks. He loved to talk and he never knew a stranger. He has had some amazing adventures in his life and loved to tell stories. Ricky simply loved people and will always be remembered as a great and humble man that you could always count on to help.

He is survived by Nancy Starling, their children Jody (Brad) Studstill, Michael (Aaron) Starling, Juliana (Paul) Starling, Kaleb Starling, and Andrew Starling, 6 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

Crevasse's Simple Cremation is honored to serve the Family.
