Robert Binford Lee, age 90, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at his home in NW Gainesville. Robert was born on January 17, 1936, to Aubrey Kenneth and Mary Kathleen Lee in Tallahassee, Florida. He was a graduate of Gainesville High School and the University of Florida, where he worked for 30+ years.
Robert was preceded in death by his first wife of 44 years Rita Forrest Pray.
He is survived by his wife Sue Condermann, daughters Kerri (Lee) Burden and Robyn (Lee) DeSha, son-in-laws Gunther Burden and Aaron DeSha, his granddaughters Cheyenne Burden, Aubrey and Lilly DeSha, and his brother James Lee.
He loved spending time with family, watching his Florida Gators, Nascar, going to the beach and riding waves in his younger years, and being the #1 fan for his daughters and granddaughters.
Robert will be remembered for his warm heart, his selflessness, his sense of humor, but most importantly, his love, commitment and dedication to his family.
