Robert D. Izor Jr.

Robert D. Izor Jr., known affectionately as Bobby by loved ones, left our world a little more empty when he finished his time on earth May 6th, 2026.  Our hearts ache with the tremendous loss, but we are warmed by the light that he beamed into all the lives he touched and will always be a part of. He was reunited in Heaven with his parents, Robert and BetteJean Izor.

Bobby was born and raised in Vermont before he made his way to the love of his life in Florida. He enjoyed spending time with family, creating memories with his children and grandchildren, crafting and sports. He loved his family so deeply and will be remembered for his remarkable strength, unmatched loyalty, caring heart, incredible laugh and priceless handmade birdhouses.

Working as a General Manager in the restaurant industry where his bubbly affection for people, infectious humor, hard work and dedication to building a happy life for his family guided him to so many life changing relationships. If you knew him, you could only love him.

Survived with exceptional memories of Bobby were his partner Krista and their precious daughters he chose to love with his whole heart; Alyse Barton (Rob), Amanda Tison (Bret), Amber Barnhart (Jerrith), his treasured grandchildren Donny, Jayden, and Linleigh. His Mother-in-Law Hilda Alligood. Also eternally missing him will be his great-grandson, Ryker and brothers, Mark Izor (Debra) and Chad Izor (Lisa) nieces Taylor and Suri, as well as many cousins and his many friends from Harwood that have held a special bond since high school.

Bobby was someone that made everyone he met feel like somebody special. His legacy is that he taught us how to pay that beautiful soul of his forward. Thank you, Bobby – we love you and will miss you—-Until we meet again!
