Ron is survived by his son, Alan Thibodeaux and his daughter Sue McMurrer and her husband John S McMurrer, his two granddaughters Rebecca Leigh, and Raechel Lydia and his great granddaughter Lilith B. Two grandsons in law Mark Anderson and James Ratliff.

  1. My heart aches. I’ve said it a lot over the years, Ron was THE best boss ever in my 56-year working career. Our time together at the IDC/EDC was very rewarding, he made sure of that. That said, perhaps more importantly, Ron was a dear friend . . . a lovable dear friend. I am comforted knowing that he and Jackie are together again, in peace.

  3. I loved Ronnie and Jackie Thibodeaux. Jackie’s parents were Iike family to me, so I was blessed to be around them all for many years. It was very apparent to me that Ronnie and Jackie were the model Christian family. Jackie was my GA leader in church. Her mom, Mary Ella Sessions, taught me in Vacation Bible School, when I was very young! I loved the long talks with both of them as I grew up. Ronnie was always just a wonderful person! I’ll hold these memories in my heart forever. Wonderful, loving people…♥️♥️

  5. Dad I know you touched many lives and I’m so glad you touched mine by being a wonderful father who loved,inspired and made life great! Enjoy being with the love of your life my Mom! We miss you both,but know we’ll be with you again in the loving arms of our creator! Till then tell all we love them!

  6. Ron was a great person, friend and even better boss. Ron hired me twice to work under his guidance at the IDC/EDC. I will miss Tippytoes and his Ron issumes ! Ron was straight forward and you always knew where you stood with him. Always enjoyed being in his company. ❤️

  7. I have a heavy heart on the loss of Ron (and Jackie) and yet I am comforted to know they shall rest together for eternity. As it always was, so it should be.

    Ron was a kind-hearted man and an amazing boss and friend. I treasure my days at the IDC/EDC where the entire staff was more family than coworkers. Ron’s work ethic and dedication to his team made us all better people.

    Grateful to have spent time with him on this life’s journey. Rest in eternal peace Ron and Jackie! 💕
