Rosalie “Rosie” Burlile, age 75, passed away on February 2, 2026 surrounded by family. She was born on January 3, 1951, in Dayton, Ohio.
Rosie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She is survived by her loving spouse of 53 years, Michael “Mike” Burlile; her children, Jason Burlile (Pam) and Amy Burlile; her cherished granddaughter, Kira Burlile; her brother, Ron Dodson (Deb); as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many close friends. She was preceded in death by Jeff Dodson and Carrie (Mae) Dodson.
Rosie worked at WPCU for 17 years, where she was known for her dedication and friendly spirit, until a stroke ended her working career. Later, Rosie and Mike moved to Florida, where she embraced a new chapter of life. She joined Bartram Newcomers, a decision that led to friendships that became lifelong bonds. Those friends were more than companions—they were like family, reflecting Rosie’s natural ability to connect, and care.
Rosie will be remembered for her strength, her love for her family, and the joy she found in meaningful relationships. Her presence brought comfort, laughter, and a sense of belonging to those who knew her.

Rosie was a lovely, friendly, cheerful lady who I never heard a bad word about. Everyone loved her. She was my husband’s childhood neighbor and classmate. We are all very sad to hear of her passing. 😢🙏💗
