Roy Hoe ,who is survived by his wife,Kathleen Hoe, has written the following message:
It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my #1 Fishman!!! We met over 30 years ago when my daughter Desiree, was just 6 months old, and my son Joel, was 3 years old. A friendship turned to love in 3 short months, and that is where our story began. He has always been dedicated to me and the children, as well as his second career in life at Publix, Hunters Crossing, as their Seafood Specialist (ironically I eat "nothing from the sea") He died suddenly Friday night, fell asleep on the couch and his heart stopped without warning. Anyone who knows him well knows the arthritis pain, and foot pain that he experienced daily were unbearable. He still served his customers with 100% commitment, and loved his family with his whole heart. "Gpa", will be missed by our beautiful grandbabies, Yalena (7) and Eliana (7 months) and everyone who has been touched by his "realness" and sincerity. Please celebrate this mans life with me as we mourn his passing!

I learned the news from Joel this evening. We are very sorry about your loss. When I was facing my own death issues after cancer , I remember him offering to help me if ever needed. He struck me as a very kind hearted soul. Our condolences to you and your family.
