Sabrina L. Rooney – June 2, 1993 – April 10, 2026

Sabrina L. Rooney passed away surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of strength, compassion, and unwavering devotion to those she held dear.

Sabrina was a loving wife, a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and a cherished friend. Known for her warm smile and kind heart, she had a way of making everyone feel seen, valued, and cared for. Her resilience and courage inspired all who knew her, especially in the face of life’s greatest challenges.

She dedicated her career to caring for others as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at UF Health Family Medical Group in Starke, Florida. Her compassion extended beyond her profession—she truly cared for her patients as if they were family, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She found joy in the simple moments—time spent with her family, laughter shared with friends, and caring for others in both big and small ways. Sabrina’s love was constant and unconditional, and her presence brought comfort and light into the lives of many.

She is survived by her loving husband, James (J.R.) Rooney Jr.; her beloved son, James (Trace) Rooney III; and her daughter, Raegan Rooney. She is also survived by her parents, Lonnie and Cassandra Norman (Brock); her sisters, Stacy Cooper (Norman) and Samantha Norman; and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.

Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit will live on through the countless lives she touched

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages acts of kindness and love in Sabrina’s memory—something she gave so freely to the world.

Sabrina will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Crevasse’s Simple Cremation is honored to serve the Rooney family.
