Sonya Marie Adams, 67, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026. Born on March 28, 1959, in Clarksburg, West Virginia, Sonya spent the majority of her life in Marlboro Township, Ohio. She was a proud graduate of Marlington High School and dedicated her life to her family and her faith.
She spent six years in US Navy.
Sonya was defined by her generous spirit, infectious laughter, and an unwavering love for everyone she met. A hardworking mother, she held various roles throughout her life to support her children and was deeply committed to serving both her community and her church.
She is lovingly remembered by her mother, Jo Ann; her siblings, Clif, Jana, and Craig; her two sons, Nathan and Tommy; and a wide circle of dear friends. Preceded in death by father, Patrick.
