Susan “Sue” Rice, 64, passed away on July 17, 2026, in Chiefland, Florida.
Sue is survived by her mother, Nancy Brott; her sisters; her two daughters, Mary Rice and Catherine Rice; and several grandchildren.
Sue was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Popa.
Sue was an amazing daughter, sister, mother and grandmother, better known to her grandchildren as “Nae-Nae”. She enjoyed all kinds of music, loved sunflowers, and was a wonderful artist. When she wasn’t outside enjoying nature, she was spreading her love to all those around her. She was the most beautiful woman who always tried her best. She will be deeply missed by her family and all that knew her.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
