Timothy Bruce Boorn, known to some as Bruce, was born on July 5, 1948 in Jacksonville, Florida. He attended Paxon High School and went to work for the City of Jax Garage Paint & Body upon graduation. He went on to retire from St. Regis Paper Company in Jax and moved to the Atlanta area in 1983 where he continued to work for Norfolk-Southern Railway until his retirement in 2012. Bruce was an avid boater until his illness last year and spent many happy years on Lake Hartwell, GA. He loved to target shoot, going to the beach, and cruising with his wife and many wonderful friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, even the birds and the ducks which he fed daily. Bruce was a member of Mandarin United Methodist Church and also considered himself a life-long member of Hartwell Methodist Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Carol Johnson Boorn, daughter Lori Reinhardt Boorn and Scott Reinhardt whom he considered a son; grandchildren, Haley, Devon, and Chase Reinhardt; brother in law, Ken Johnson (Carlene); sister, Connie Burkhart; several nieces and nephews. Bruce was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Boorn Jr.; parents, Lucille Figg and Harold Boorn; sister, Carol Pariseau.
