Wayne Cee Jones

July 30, 1960 ~ July 28, 2020

Wayne Cee Jones, 59, died unexpectedly on July 28, 2020. His passing has left his family and many friends with a void in their hearts. Wayne was a gifted heavy-duty diesel mechanic by trade who was sought out by many within the trucking industry for his knowledge and talents. He is predeceased by his father, Billy Jones, and his youngest son, Jason Shayne Jones. Survivors include his loving mother Patsy Jones, sister Robin Henderson, brother Steven Randall Jones (Karen), and oldest son, Jeremy Jones. He was also Papa to Joy, Mason, and Jace. Wayne also enjoyed a special bond with his nephew, Scotty Henderson, who together shared many stories and much laughter over the years. A special mention is necessary here for those who never quit on Wayne…Cecil, Herman, Mark, Ken, and Melvin. You have been his lights in the dark so never underestimate the love you shared with him. He is gone but will never be forgotten.

  1. There have been so many people who have reached out to my mother and me over the loss of our beloved Wayne. We are so grateful for those who took the time to remember him and all that he was; a master of much and a kind, compassionate, and giving soul. He was taken from us way too soon but for reasons only God knows, it was his time to go. Our hearts are broken, the tears continue to flow steadily, but He sees all that is happening and guides us as we go through each day. There will never be another like Wayne. He will forever be in our hearts. When the Lord opened the Gates for Wayne on July 28, 2020, he received the ultimate eternal blessing. I take comfort in knowing that Wayne is in His wonderful hands. To Wayne, know that I love you with all my heart and will never stop missing you.
Your sister and biggest fan, Robin.

  2. He was a man who knew his stuff and would help you if you needed it. I'm going to miss the calls he did to me 3 or 4 times a day rest in peace old friend

  3. Just saw this today. I figured Wayne must have passed away after not hearing from him for a while. Wayne was a fun and generous person. Rest in peace…
