Wilbur Allen “Bud” Davis passed from this life and went to be with our Lord on Tuesday morning, July 14, 2026. He was 74 years old. Bud was a simple man born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida. He was one of seven siblings and was the middle child.

Bud was a hardworking man in construction and took great pride in everything he set his hands on while providing for his family. As well, he owned a small rescreen business where he worked honestly, with integrity and great example before moving to Bell with his wife and three daughters in 1990.

A man of the outdoors, Bud found immense joy in God’s creation and loved being out and about in nature. Most especially being on the water fishing and boating. His favorite times were spent enjoying life with his loving family creating unsurpassed memories. He delighted in watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren grow and nothing brought him more happiness than a house full of family, making memories and listening to the sound of his loved ones.

Bud is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Hursch Davis of 49 years and his three beautiful daughters, Shanann (Billy) Cannon, Shawna (Gabe) Martin, and Kimberly Kinsey (Mike Rose). He is also survived by his eight grandchildren, Mitchell, Meagan (Rob), Brooks (Summer), Kendal, Kamryn, Jarrett (Courtney), Sydnie (Tim) and Danika. As well, his eight great grandchildren Caiden, Addison, Talon, Millie, Stevie, Donnie, Krew and Jax.

Bud is further survived by a loving sister-in-law and two brothers-in-law, Sandy and John Wilkinson of Okeechobee and Jeff Hursch of Maine and a bunch of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. His two brothers, John Davis of West Palm Beach and Jessie (Diana) Davis of Bell, and his two sisters Marie (Bob) Wiley of Alachua and Linda Davis of Ocala.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents, John and Wanda Davis of Bell and his two sisters, Carol Davis Vickers and Suzanna Davis.

Bud was truly a special man, will never be forgotten and there will always be a void in our hearts no one can fill. Rest in Peace our Prince. You were the best of the best and we love you so much!

  1. God took another Angel, a beautiful soul left this earth, leaving behind all his love ones, but not his love, memories as they will never leave their sides, he will always remain within their hearts forever
    AMEN

  2. I miss him so much. He was the most loving, caring and loyal man ever. He will be missed so much. I will carry him in my heart until my last breath is taken. I love you Daddy. Until we meet again….

  3. To my Favorite Uncle Bud. Even though we truly were not family you loved me like I was, for that I am truly blessed to have not only your love but your heart. You were so kind to me from the moment I was born and you along with all of your family loved me like I was one of the family again for that I am truly blessed, but mostly “Honored”. Even though you never heard my voice I could tell by your actions, your smile, but mostly your heart you knew what I was saying and how I felt and Uncle Bud believe me I felt your love and it was such a warm beautiful feeling that I am so sad to say I miss so very much, but I know that as your up in Heaven now watching down upon me and all your loved ones your now out of pain and Uncle Bud I can still feel your love and I know as I lay in bed at night you can hear me as I whisper to you up above I love you Uncle Bud, I miss you Uncle Bud but I am so very glad you’re not in pain anymore. Forever in my heart Uncle Bud. xxoo “Love you a bushel and peck and a great big hug around your neck”
    Stacey

  4. So sorry for your loss. Sending prayers your way. He was my first love and the father of our baby boy. I’ve always treasured that from him. I pray he will be united with him in Heaven. So happy to hear he had a loving family. Wishing your family peace and comfort in the days ahead.
