William H. Pons, age 64 went to be with the Lord on September 20th, 2018. He was born on December 12th, 1953 in Gainesville, Florida.

  1. I only knew Mr. Pons for a very short time. But in that time, he left a lasting impression on me. He was joyful, funny, grateful and kind. I am glad to have known him. Thank you for sharing him with us in his last days and letting us care for him.

  2. Uncle Pete you will be greatly missed. You quick wit and funny stories will always be remembered. I’m so glad we had the opportunity to spend Tuesday talking and laughing with you. See you on the other side with Jesus.

  3. Pete was my brother-in-law, but more importantly my friend. Together we attended church, weddings, funerals, camped by the riverside, swam with manatees (well, that was Ann and I while Pete remained on the boat), critiqued the craftsmanship of other carpenters, and worked side-by-side. Pete loved life and his family but most especially he loved his "baby-bride" (Ann). I am thankful he was ready to meet his Master although we will miss him terribly. Rest in peace my friend.

  4. Dad, you are loved & missed more daily. I miss seeing you in your recliner, drinking coffee. The cats & dogs miss you. Wofey is well taken care of. Mom, Pete & I will see you again. We love you & miss you! I will always be your little girl. I  love you daddy! ❤️
