William S. Peglar

William (Bill) Shipherd Peglar, 70, of Gainesville, Florida passed away peacefully on Monday, November 27, 2017.  He was born April 14, 1947 in the Panama Canal Zone, Panama, was raised in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and had been a Florida resident for the past 30 years.  Bill lived his life for art, and was a talented painter, sculptor, metalworker, jeweler, and musician.  He also served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam conflict.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Edith Peglar, and brother John Peglar, and is survived by his sister Nancy Peglar Caldwell (of Knoxville, Tennessee) and brother Steve Peglar (of Fort Worth, Texas).  Crevasse's Simple Cremation is honored to serve the Peglar family.
