Wilma King Rippy

Wilma J King Rippy passed away on Thursday March 14, 2019 in Gainesville, Florida after an extended illness.

She was born on October 13th 1945 in La Crosse, Florida and was the youngest of 13 children of Preston and Ethel King who predeceased her. She was married to James (Jim) Rippy who predeceased her. She was predeceased by four sisters; Nora Dalton, Merdeline King, Maye Scott and Mildred Williams Benefield, two brothers; Claude King, Pete King, a step-daughter, Donna Kay Rippy and a step-grandaughter.

Surviving her are three sons; Nicolas Cabrera (Darla), Jimmy Rippy (Charlotte), and Stephen Rippy. She leaves three step-children; Jimmy Presley, James Earl Rippy, Larry Rippy, two grandchildren; Deven Rippy Cortney Gruver, and two great grandchildren; Preston Rippy and Kensley Cutler.

She is also survived by three sisters; Gladys Green Quitman GA, Betty Munn and Mary Vann of Hague. Also surviving her are three brothers; Douglas King (Zelma) Augusta GA, Norman King (Katheryn) Bronson, and Donald King (Jean) of Hague, and many nephews, nieces and cousins.

She was a member of Hague Baptist Church. She retired as an LPN and had worked in that profession until she become disabled.
